Thank you for taking the time to look round the website and for your interest in Jailbreak 2009 so far. We are still looking for volunteers to help out with the planning of the event and also to help out with various tasks on the day itself.
In the run up to the event we have quite a few roles which we need your help with.
In the run up to the event we need help with the following:
- PR management
- Celebrity involvement
- Event sponsorship
- Researchers
- Prize giving organisation
- Admin assistants
- Recruitment of teams
- Legal advice
- Correspondence assistants
During the event we need volunteers to:
- Registering teams as they arrive
- Admit volunteers and stall holders
- Meet and greet the speakers and celebrity
- Attend to the car park,
- Direct visitors and teams around the site
- Set up for the event (including the stalls, stage, refreshments etc)
- Cover the phones at HQ in shifts
- Hold collection boxes
After the event we need volunteers to:
- Clear up the site
- Break down and load the tables
- Count money collected on the day
- Admin involved in collecting money from teams
- Pay money into JailBreak 2009 bank account
- Write thank you letters to sponsors and contributors
- Present prizes to winners and a massive cheque to Endometriosis UK.
